Brunch!

I decided that I wanted Abby to have all her "loveys" here at the same time, so I invited the grandparents and great grandmothers over for brunch. My mom had to work so we were minus 1 person.

I took pictures of the food......but between photo sessions, we had to change batteries. SO, apparently we lost pics of that. The menu was:

• Mini bacon cheddar frittatas
• Sausage balls
• Beef dip
• Buffalo chicken dip
• Grapes & cantaloupe
• Cheesecake bites
• Brownie bites
• White chocolate dipped pretzel rods
• Spiced pecans

Abby was sick (fever, icky nose) yesterday, so I was thankful that she felt "great" (to quote her) so that everyone could come and hang out and chat.

We re-did Abby's room - but I failed to take before pics. It was a purple-pink wall color with a really girly floral quilt. She wanted a "big girl" room, so here it is!

I found this hook/shelf thing @ Hobby Lobby for around $6! Love that place!!!

The zebra print ribbon that her letters are hanging from is another Hobby Lobby find.

Okay, so what you might not be able to make out (because apparently pencil doesn't scan very well) - is the fact that Abby wrote "I do not no" for her assignment. #1 - she knows the difference between know and no, but she was probably having a diva moment on this day. #2 - she is such a little twit! Sheesh - at least Mrs. Leonard has a sense of humor!

We're packing a few bags, and most likely going to stay with my parents for awhile. We live much closer to the creek (in a flood zone, as you can see) than they do, so we figure we're slighty safer at their house.
